More than 20,000 unofficial calls via telegram bots and approximately 12,000 calls to the “hot line” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine have already been made by relatives of Russian soldiers looking for their loved ones of life. Viktor Andrusiv, Adviser to the Interior Minister of Ukraine, spoke about it on Thursday, May 5, on the air of the All-Ukrainian Information Telethon.
“In March alone, I had 210 identified prisoners identified by their relatives on the telegram channel. And somewhere about 40 dead. Through requests via telegram bots we made, we received 20 thousand requests from indigenous soldiers who asked what happened to them, and about 12,000 more calls to the hotline of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, “Androsov said.
He noted that Russian propaganda could no longer afford to hide from the Russians the human losses of the Russian Federation in the war in Ukraine, and was already receiving official requests from the Russian Ombudsman.
“They are no longer successful. And, in particular, the telegram channels we have created do not allow them to hide it. And requests from the Russian Ombudsman came to Ukraine,” Andrusiv said.
The adviser to the Interior Minister of Ukraine stressed that in the future it will be more difficult for Russia to hide the losses of its soldiers.
“Obviously people don’t feel these losses in the short term, people are told that somewhere there is no connection with men, that they are lost somewhere,” Andrusiv said.
He stressed that every month the Russians ’fears about the loss of loved ones in the war released by their government would increase rapidly, as before during events in Afghanistan under the Soviet Union.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated high -precision artillery work, which destroyed enemy equipment in the area of the city of Izyum.
