Ukrainian social networks are discussing a photo of one of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released from captivity on February 4.
It shows Maxim Kolesnikov, a mobilized Kyiv businessman who was captured back in March 2022 near Kyiv.
Maxim tasted fresh fruit for the first time in 11 months – an apple.
It was at this moment that he was photographed, and the photo appeared on the Facebook of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Kolesnikov moved with his family to Kyiv from Donetsk. He was a restaurateur, director of marketing and advertising for several chains. Defended Ukraine during the ATO.
He also provided for the army in the Reform Office under the Cabinet. In 2022, Kolesnikov joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine again.
Friends and acquaintances could not find Max for a long time. Then it turned out that in the first days of the great war he was surrounded and captured by Russian troops near Kyiv.
In the photo after his dismissal, he was not immediately recognized. The stocky 45-year-old man lost weight and turned gray in captivity.
Did not recognize. Welcome back from hell, Max! blogger Roman Shraik wrote on FB.
First of all, we need to keep memories, remember who is doing what, and talk about people who are creating the current history of Ukraine and may disappear forever,” noted Serhiy Misyura, a well-known military and blogger, in his message.
Recall that on February 4, 116 Ukrainian servicemen and law enforcement officers were fired from Russian captivity. The exchange took place on the border with the Belgorod region.
Andriy Yermak, the head of the OP, noted that, in particular, the defenders of Mariupol, Kherson partisans, and snipers from the Bakhmut direction were dismissed.
