In January of this year, the income of the Pension Fund of Ukraine increased by UAH 17.5 billion, and reached UAH 58 billion, the PFU press service reports.
It was noted that own revenues (part of single contribution and other payments) amounted to 31.5 billion Hryvnia (+5.6 billion Hryvnia), state budget funds for financing pension payments – 20.7 billion Hryvnia (+ 6.1 billion hryvnias).
Also, the Pension Fund received 3.9 billion hryvnias of state budget funds for the payment of benefits and housing subsidies, and 1.9 billion hryvnias of funds for compulsory state social insurance related to temporary disability and from an industrial accident and occupational disease that caused disability in 2023.
Recall that in Ukraine for the year pensions increased by 15.8%.
It was also reported that in 2023 Ukraine plans to carry out pension reform. The government intends to introduce mandatory pension savings.
