Johnson urges US to step up support for Ukraine

The former head of the British government believes that Russia’s war against Ukraine is a defining event of the 21st century.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who was in the United States to negotiate increased military support for Ukraine on Friday, February 3, posted a video online in which he once again called on the world to do whatever it takes to defeat Putin.

“I stand for giving Ukraine everything it needs to defeat Putin. The United States has done so much – that’s why I came to Washington to thank them and say: God bless the United States,” Johnson said.

He said that he was amazed at the unity of the two American parties (Republicans and Democrats) and both houses, which equally support Ukraine.

Johnson emphasized that the Ukrainians must be given everything they need to win and as soon as possible.

“This will be the best solution for Ukraine, the United States and save the money of American taxpayers,” insisted the British politician.

The former head of the British government noted that Russia’s war against Ukraine is a defining event of the 21st century.

Recall that recently during a visit to Ukraine, Boris Johnson came to Bucha.
