The armed forces of the Russian Federation and private military companies have already lost about 130,000 soldiers in Ukraine.
Only in the past day, on February 2, 840 soldiers, officers and mercenaries were liquidated. Four enemy tanks, six armored combat vehicles, three artillery systems, two multiple rocket launchers, an aircraft, a drone, four vehicles and two pieces of special equipment were also destroyed. This was reported on February 3 at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to February 3, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel – about 129 thousand 870 (+840) people liquidated,
- tanks – 3 thousand 215 (+4) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 6 thousand 388 (+6) units,
- artillery systems – 2 thousand 215 (+3) units,
- MLRS – 460 (+2) units,
- air defense systems – 222 (+0) units,
- aircraft – 294 (+1) units,
- helicopters – 284 (+0) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 1 thousand 952 (+1),
- cruise missiles – 796 (+0),
- ships / boats – 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tankers – 5 thousand 68 (+4) units,
- special equipment – 202 (+2).
Recall, The New York Times reported that during the 11 months of a full-scale war with Ukraine, the military losses of the Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine amount to about 200 thousand people. These losses are eight times higher than American losses during the two decades of the war in Afghanistan.
