A Washington, D.C. subway employee died this Wednesday, and three public transit users were injured by a man who opened fire Against them.
Deputy Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department, Auchan Benedictexplained at a press conference that it was “a series of separate events.”
Benedict explained that the assailant first boarded a public bus armed with guns on 14th Street off Potomac Avenue, southeast of the city, and shot a man who got out of the vehicle in the leg.
Later, the assailant approached the nearest metro station and in the same way wounded the man who bought the ticket in the leg. Immediately afterwards, the assailant walked up to the platform and “argued” with a woman whom the Police do not know if he was trying to rob.

At that time there were two employees meter who saw the scene and came to protect the woman. One of them was shot by the attacker and died, while the other managed to disarm the attacker.
