Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was considering providing Ukraine with military assistance, including the Iron Dome air defense system.

In March, Ukraine asked Netanyahu’s predecessor, Neftali Bennett, to mediate talks with the Kremlin, but diplomatic efforts came to nothing.
Recall that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Israel has been providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, but the Jerusalem government has been sharply criticized for refusing to send weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that instead of the Iron Dome, Ukraine needs its own air and missile defense system.
According to Axios, Netanyahu and President Volodymyr Zelensky were negotiating in late December to change Ukraine’s position at the UN on a resolution on the Palestinian territories in exchange for air defense.
On January 28-29, unidentified drones attacked military installations in Iran, a Russian ally that supplies combat drones to Moscow. Western media reported that the attack was orchestrated by Israel.
