On February 1, the State Bureau of Investigation reported the suspicion to the former Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Igor Nasalyk.

The UP writes that he is suspected of signing agreements that are unprofitable for the state in favor of companies associated with the oligarch Dmitry Firtash in the amount of UAH 1.5 billion.

Stretcher headed the Ministry of Energy in 2016-2019 in the government of Vladimir Groysman.

In November 2020, the VAKS closed the case of false information in the declarations of the former Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Nasalik.

Nasalik was charged with omission in the declaration of a financial obligation of 1.2 million dollars. He did not indicate it from 2015 to 2018. Moreover, last year law enforcers discovered that the ex-minister did not indicate UAH 29 million in his declaration. The investigation into this case ended in August 2019.
