Volodymyr Zelensky may meet with Joe Biden at the end of February during the visit of the head of the White House to Poland.
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported that two cities, Rzeszow and Warsaw, are currently being considered for a potential meeting.
The Ukrainian president will present a peace plan and call for an international conference on Ukraine, a diplomatic source in Kyiv said of plans for talks.
According to the Polish publication, the meeting should be part of a broader conflict resolution scheme, in which Zelensky plans to present a 10-point peace plan and convene an international conference to discuss it, which will be attended by Ukraine’s security guarantors.
Among them, in addition to the United States, will be Canada, Turkey, Great Britain, Israel, Germany and Poland.
Zelensky’s plan includes the issue of creating an International Tribunal, providing security guarantees for Ukraine from Euro-Atlantic organizations and recognizing the territorial integrity of Ukraine within 2014.
Recall that the last time the presidents of the United States and Ukraine saw each other was at the end of December, when Zelensky paid an official state visit to the United States.
