The maneuvering of the enemy forces was detected in time by the air reconnaissance operators, who immediately corrected the fire of border mortar personnel at Invaders. At the same time, State Border Service soldiers inflicted defeating fire on the enemy from small arms and grenade launchers,” the statement said.
According to the State Border Guard Service, eight invaders were killed.
“The enemy has not made repeated attempts to attack in this direction,” the State Border Service added.
Recall that near Bakhmut, the border guards destroyed the military of the Russian Federation in their shelter.
It was also reported that near Bakhmut, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a warehouse with ammunition of the invaders.
