The United States is preparing a $2.2 billion military aid package for Ukraine, including long-range missiles.
This was reported by Reuters, citing two informed sources.
Most likely, Ukraine will be given the GLSDB, a hybrid of an aerial bomb and an M26 unguided rocket, with a flight range of 150 km.

Military bases in Dzhankoy, Berdyansk and the Luhansk region are just some of our possible goals that are not yet achievable.
A new aid package could be announced as early as this week, Reuters writes. It will also include support equipment for Patriot air defense systems, precision-guided munitions and Javelin anti-tank missile systems, the sources said.
GMLRS missiles are supplied to Ukraine for HIMARS installations, the range of which is about 80 km. Kyiv has repeatedly asked the United States for ATACMS missiles with a range of about 300 km, but has not yet received them.
On January 18, The New York Times reported that the US presidential administration is gradually softening its position on providing Ukraine with the funds that will allow it to strike targets in Crimea.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is preparing for a major escalation from Russia, perhaps even in the next two to three weeks. On January 31, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said this. He told Sky News that the toughest battles are yet to come, noting that the next few months will be decisive in determining the course of the war.
He suggested that the routes would try again to attack from the north, south and rooster and east, as they did on February 24, 2022, and called on the Western Allies to send more weapons, including Royal Air Force Typhoon jets from the UK and fighters from other partners.
