Russian troops threw their bodies into Ukrainian positions. In February and March, the situation will remain tense.
The coming months ahead will be very difficult. This was said by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, on the air of the Freedom TV channel.
He noted that now the Russian troops are constantly trying to go on the offensive and throw their bodies into the Ukrainian positions.
At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders, unlike the invaders, fought with skill, not numbers.
“The situation is very complicated: the enemy continues to advance. Therefore, in fact, the losses of the enemy are higher than the Ukrainian army. Unfortunately, we also have losses. But the skill and motivation of the Ukrainian fighters, along with equipment and weapons, both our home and help from our partners is what will ultimately change the tide of offensive actions (by Russia – ed.),” said Yusov.
He mentioned that the next two months ahead will be difficult.
“Both February and March will be very active actions,” the intelligence official said.
However, he added that, given the state of troops and equipment the invaders had, they could do nothing but fight back in numbers.
It will be recalled that the National Security and Defense Council has also warned of a maximum increase in the near future.
