The first hubs for collecting equipment for Ukrainians appeared in Europe

The Ministry of Digital Development reports that there are currently 11 such hubs in European countries.

The first 11 hubs for collecting equipment for war-affected Ukrainians, as part of the Laptops for Ukraine initiative, have been launched in a number of European cities. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported this on its Telegram channel.

Any European socially responsible company has the opportunity to participate in the collection of laptops, tablets, smartphones for Ukrainian schools, hospitals, state administrations and other institutions affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

Currently, equipment collection hubs are installed in the following European cities:

  • Paris

  • Trier

  • Granada

  • Oypen

  • Antwerp

  • Brussels

  • Karlovy Vary

  • Prague

  • Ljubljana

  • Tallinn

  • Oradea.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation is involved in coordinating the transfer of equipment in accordance with the requests of other government agencies.

As you know, on May 5, 2022, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the launch of an online fundraising platform in support of Ukraine. This was the first step in the United24 global initiative.

As already reported, the restoration of houses within UNITED24 will begin in Irpin.
