The Ukrainian military destroyed five light boats with Russian saboteurs in the Dnieper River. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, January 31.
“The enemy has intensified the activities of its sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the area of the islands at the mouth of the Dnieper. Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed at least five light-engine boats with such an enemy . group,” the report said.
Earlier in January, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit an enemy boat in the Dnieper with artillery. It was shot in the area of Belogrudy Island in the Kherson region.
It was also reported that all the islands in the Dnieper in the Kherson region are in the “gray zone”. Control over them is possible after the complete release of the opposite bank.
