Trump referred to what he called an “important article” in the New York Times on Sunday about Fox reporters’ “low” ratings, “especially if they covered stories that the public saw as not in his favor.”
Trump said the problem was Fox could not afford the “rigged 2020 presidential election”.
“It’s a topic they don’t want to talk about,” he said.
The Times three-part series focuses on driving Tucker Carlson and how he paid for his rigid propaganda on the right, white nationalism and white “panic” for Fox News.
“In a way, Mr. Carlson took Trump away from Mr. Trump,” the paper said.
Despite Trump’s statements, Carlson often spreads misinformation about the 2020 presidential election. And while there is no evidence that this is “wrong,” Trump continues to hate most of those who do not follow his speech.
“I am [Fox] “They just want to skate, they want to finish it,” Trump said. He did not indicate a reason why the conservative network would do so.
Trump also did not specify the scope of the article on Carlson’s cultivation of white fear and its uncertain popularity.
Fox News further avoided the middle edition of the Times series when the newspaper asked for an answer. The spokesman said the ratings had reached a record high and that Fox was “No longer proud of his entire team.
Trump’s comments were posted on his aide’s Twitter account a few days after he promised Fox that he would keep his social media platform, Truth Social, even though the new site owner allowed him to return to Twitter. Elon Musk.
Twitter banned Trump permanently for his role in the Jan. 6 uprising. Trump only posted two short messages on his Truth Social after launching in February.
