Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, on Monday, January 30, paid a working visit to the Nikolaev region.
The head of state held a meeting on the current situation in the region. We talked about the operational situation in southern Ukraine, as well as the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks. The state of the energy infrastructure of the region, the means of its protection and the pace of renewal were considered. This is stated in the President’s Telegram.
Zelensky also spoke with local officials about the restoration of educational institutions in the Mykolaiv region, the long-term recovery of the region’s economy and the creation of new jobs.
The Ukrainian leader in Nikolaev met with Danish Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen, together they visited the wounded Ukrainian soldiers in one of the hospitals. The head of state noted the importance of wounded soldiers undergoing not only physical, but also psychological rehabilitation.
Recall, on December 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky paid an unannounced visit to the front-line Bakhmut, Donetsk region. The head of state met with the Ukrainian military and presented them with state awards.
