It is known that the farewell to the companion took place on January 30.
The 24-year-old Murashko was the commander of an aviation squadron and made 141 sorties from the first day of the full-scale armed invasion of the Russian Federation.
Due to the pilot – 70 units of destroyed enemy armored vehicles, more than 80 vehicles, about 30 fuel and lubricant tankers, about 600 invaders.
For outstanding achievements in the fight against the enemy, he was awarded the orders of Bogdan Khmelnitsky of all three degrees.
“During a combat mission as part of a pair on January 27, 2023, he was hit by an enemy fighter. Seeing the village of Shabelkovka nearby, the pilot, despite the low flight altitude, tried to steer the plane away from residential buildings until the last second. As a result, he lost altitude, was unable to eject and died,” the brigade said.
For the demonstrated bravery and courage, strengthening the defense and security capabilities of Ukraine, the command of the military unit presented Major Murashko to be awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine (posthumously).
According to media reports, Daniel was born in Nizhyn, Chernihiv region. In 2013, he entered the Chernihiv Lyceum with enhanced military physical training, and from 2015 to 2020 he was a cadet at the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub.
Since November 2020, he has served in the aviation brigade of one of the Nikolaev military units.
