Such actions could have unpredictable consequences for peace and stability in the Middle East, worries Maria Zakharova.

Russia “strongly condemned” the drone attack on a military facility in the Iranian city of Isfahan. This was stated in the statement of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation on Monday, January 30.

“We strongly condemn any provocative actions that could lead to an uncontrolled escalation of tensions in an already far from calm region. Such destructive actions could have unforeseen consequences for peace and stability in the Middle East. Both the organizers of daring attacks and their patrons , as well as those who enjoy it, vainly hoping for the weakening of Iran,” said the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

Recall that on the night of January 28-29, a series of explosions occurred in Iran at strategic facilities – military depots, an ammunition production center, an air base, oil refineries.

And the night before, explosions rocked the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran. There were also strikes on a convoy of Iranian weapons trucks crossing the border from Iraq to Syria at the Bu-Kemal border.
