Rashists fired at the fire and rescue unit in the city of Gulyaipole, Zaporozhye region, for the second time.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Zaporozhye.
On the night of January 28, as a result of the attack of the city, there was a direct hit on the building of the fire station, the report says.
The shelling caused the following damage:
- broken roof;
- windows, doors and gates in the garage flew out;
- fragments hit a fire truck, fragments pierced the front wheel and compartment with compressed air apparatus, as well as a container for drinking water.
The personnel were not injured.
All the time, the unit served as an island of safety and a shelter for hundreds of locals who asked for help, the department notes.
Recall that in early January, the Resists fired at the fire station in Kherson. As a result, one person died and four rescuers were injured.
