Russian special services are preparing another special operation against the leadership of Ukraine.
In the near future, the enemy is planning to launch a wide information and psychological special operation to discredit a number of representatives of the Ukrainian military-political leadership. Moscow wants to discredit Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Shaptal, Head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov, Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Acting Head of the National Police Ivan Vyhovsky, etc. This was announced on January 27 by the Main Directorate of Intelligence on Facebook.
It is noted that the campaign will include the stuffing of fabricated materials in Ukrainian and international media.
The GUR emphasized that the goal of the IPSO is to sow uncertainty about the defense capabilities of Ukraine among citizens and international partners. Russian special services believe that this supposedly should lead to political instability within the country and reduce confidence in Ukraine on the part of the international anti-Putin coalition.
Recall that in January, the heads of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Directorate of Intelligence discussed future special operations that will bring Ukraine’s victory closer. The secret service emphasized that the consequences of this workshop “will be the best evidence of effective and well-coordinated communication between the two departments.”
