The Russian Federation is reducing the intensity of massive missile strikes due to its inability to produce the required number of missiles. Ukraine has some difficult months ahead, however, there will be success, Danilov believes.
The turning point in the war has already taken place, but there are some tough months ahead. This was announced on Friday, January 27, by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov on Radio Liberty.
He noted that it is difficult to predict the end of the war, and victory will not come quickly.
“Unfortunately, now I cannot say the exact date that this (victory – ed.) will be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. There is still hard, hard work ahead, in the far distance of the front – more than two thousand kilometers,” said Danilov.
He noted that the Ukrainian defenders this year will have a lot of hard work to liberate the territories.
At the same time, Danilov emphasized that the “turning point” in the war had already been passed.
“Yes, it will be difficult, we will not be able to relax, but believe me, everything will be fine. Let’s wait… The difficult period now is at least a month and a half or two, or maybe three. We have to go through on this difficult path,” the NSDC secretary said.
According to him, this period is related to the dates that the Russian authorities determine for themselves, in particular, the anniversary of the start of a full-scale invasion.
Danilov also noted that Russian troops are reducing the intensity of massive missile strikes.
According to him, the invaders no longer have the ability to produce the necessary number of missiles to “continue to terrorize us for a long time.”
“The only reservation, I have already spoken about it, if God forbid, Iran or some other countries will help them, but we will know immediately and we will respond,” the NSDC secretary said.
Danilov noted that he knew the exact number of missiles Russia had left, but declined to name it.
Earlier, Danilov said that the Russian Federation already knows the name of Putin’s successor. According to him, the issue of Putin in Russia is almost closed.
