A scandal broke out around the Yolochka orphanage two years ago because of improper child care.
Orphans released from Kherson were kept in an orphanage in Simferopol, called the “children’s concentration camp” and Auschwitz. This is reported by Layout.
According to the publication, at least 14 orphans from two to five years old were placed in the Simferopol orphanage Elochka. It was established thanks to photographs and letters to Santa Claus, published on the website of Adoption in the Moscow Region. The postcards were signed in the same handwriting, probably by the instructors. Each of them mentioned that the boy came from Kherson.
It was noted that the Elochka orphanage specializes in working with children with lesions of the central nervous system, mental and behavioral disorders, hearing, vision and HIV.
The institution’s work program states that children are brought up with “higher moral feelings”, including “patriotism and citizenship”, and also develops the idea that “Crimea is in the south of Russia” and “consciousness of oneself as a citizen of multinational Russia”.
Two years ago, a scandal broke out around this orphanage due to inadequate child care. Parents who picked up children complained that the children were very tired. One of the boys was diagnosed with dystrophy, dehydration, rickets, he had no muscular frame and his skull was deformed. In the media, this orphanage is called a concentration camp, and the conditions for keeping children are compared to the conditions in Auschwitz.
Earlier it was reported that the occupying authorities of the occupied part of the Kherson region and the annexed Crimea intend to leave the children who were illegally brought to Evpatoria in October 2022 to study on the peninsula.
Recall that in October 2992, the Russians deported at least 9,400 children from Ukraine.
