Odessa, Vinnitsa and Kyiv regions are in the most difficult situation today due to power outages.

On Friday, Kyiv was allocated 991 MW during the day and 663 MW at night, Dnipro and region – 1200 MW during the day and 1208 MW at night. This was announced on Thursday, January 26, by YASNO CEO Sergey Kovalenko on Facebook.

At the same time, he pointed out that the 991 MW will only cover more than 60% of the daily capital needs.

“We fought another shelling. There was damage to the energy infrastructure of at least Kyiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions. But colleagues managed to restore the power supply. Moreover, in the afternoon they returned to the stabilization schedules in Kyiv and the Dnipropetrovsk region,” he wrote on Facebook.

In this regard, DTEK said that the limits set for tomorrow will allow the application of stabilization closing schedules.

At the same time, an emergency blackout will operate in the Odessa region due to damage to electrical facilities.

The Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky also spoke about the state of electricity supply.

He noted that at the moment, electricity supply is limited in most regions. The most difficult situation is in the regions of Odessa, Lvov, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Sumy and Poltava.

He assured that electrical engineers, public utilities and all involved in stabilizing the energy system will do everything necessary to restore generation and technical supply capabilities as soon as possible.

“I also thank everyone in the world who helped and is helping Ukraine with energy equipment. In every country, every company and every person – to the millions of our friends who, through United24 or through other support tools, proves that the fear of Russia must disappear,” Zelensky added.

It should be noted that due to the Russian attack, approximately 75% of the entire thermal generation of Ukraine suffered and had to be restored.

It will be recalled that on January 26, Russian terrorists launched another massive missile attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. In total, the Russians fired 55 missiles across Ukraine, 47 of which hit the Ukrainian air defense forces, three of which missed the target.
