He noted that France is unlikely to supply its Leclerc tanks to Ukraine, as they “do not fit” with the announced delivery of American and German tanks.
“They are not the best asset we can give to Ukraine, also because it will be expensive and difficult for the Ukrainians to deal with different types of tanks. We are thinking, for example, about ground capabilities- wind,” explained Gasillud.
It should be noted that French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu said that France plans to deliver the first AMX10-RC wheeled light tanks to Ukraine in February.
It will be remembered that on January 4, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the intention of Paris to transfer the AMX-10 RC light wheeled tank to Kyiv to fight the Russian aggression.
