The dismissal of five heads of regional prosecutor’s offices in Ukraine took place on Wednesday, January 25.
The relevant orders have already been signed by Prosecutor General Andrey Kostin. Regional prosecutors have been dismissed from their posts at their own request. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.
It is noted that the heads of the Zaporozhye regional prosecutor’s office Viktor Prikhodko, the head of the Kirovohrad regional prosecutor’s office Volodymyr Tverdokhleb, the head of the Poltava regional prosecutor’s office Anton Stoletny, the head of the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office Oleksiy Tubelets and the head of the Chernihiv regional prosecutor’s office Sergey were dismissed.
Earlier it was reported that on January 24, Deputy Prosecutor General Alexei Simonenko was dismissed from his post. His foreign vacation in Spain led to a personnel decision.
Recall that on July 27, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada, during a plenary session, agreed to the appointment of a people’s deputy from the Servant of the People Andrey Kostin as head of the Office of the Prosecutor General. At one time, Kostin was the director and co-founder of the Pravo Law Firm, as well as deputy chairman of the Odessa Region Bar Council.
