Ukrainian military equipment will be repaired and modernized in Slovakia. This was reported by the local edition of Pravda in connection with the press secretary of the Slovak Ministry of Defense Martina Koval Kakaschikova on Tuesday, May 3.
“We can confirm that the Construct-Defens State Joint-Stock Company has signed a contract for the repair and modernization of Ukrainian military equipment. The first order is about dozens of BRDM-2 armored vehicles,” said the speaker.
It is also indicated that representatives of the Slovak government have repeatedly expressed their determination to continue to support Ukraine, both in the form of humanitarian and military assistance.
It was previously reported that the Czech Republic will repair the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The work will be carried out by companies in the Czech defense industry, including businesses in Slovakia.
