Shmygal told international partners what is needed to maintain Ukraine’s energy system.

On Tuesday, January 24, a meeting of the International Energy Advisory Council (energy Ramstein) was held. During the discussions, the main priorities of Ukraine in terms of equipment were named. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal

“In his speech to the energy ministers of the partner countries, he named the main priorities of Ukraine in the equipment,” he said.

According to Shmyhal, in order to maintain Ukraine’s energy system, it is important to repair damaged electricity transmission and distribution lines as much as possible; restore and decentralize generation where possible; introduce energy efficiency programs; strengthen cross-border electricity trade.

The prime minister also urged allies to make efforts to end dependence on Russian nuclear fuel and services.

“We expect more support for Ukraine’s energy system following the meeting,” Shmyhal said.

Recall that Shmyhal spoke about financial and energy Ramsteins.
