Adam Klotz, a meteorologist for Fox News, said he needed hospital treatment after he was severely beaten by a group of teenagers on a New York City subway train early Sunday morning.
The group of seven or eight teenagers assaulted Klotz on train no. 1 around 1:15 a.m. after calling them for allegedly setting an elderly passenger’s hair on fire with a joint, he recalled on Monday’s broadcast of the conservative network’s morning show. The fox and friends.
Klotz, who was walking home after watching the New York Giants game at a bar, said he transferred to another subway car after receiving the first punch to the face. But the teenagers chased him and kicked and punched him in the body at several stops.
