“Since the war began almost a year ago, there has been an unprecedented level of support for the Alliance,” the secretary said.
According to him, NATO allies should provide heavier weapons and equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He emphasized that this is a “very urgent need” and added that he welcomes all announcements from Western countries for the supply of tanks to Ukraine.
“So, if we really want to have a solution where Ukraine lives as a sovereign and independent country, then it is absolutely necessary to act in this way,” concluded Stoltenberg.
Recall that earlier the NATO Secretary General announced that the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine from Western countries will increase in the near future.
