Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense systems are being actively deployed in Moscow.
In the center of the capital of Russia, three such air defense systems have already been placed on the roofs of buildings. On Saturday, January 21, footage appeared on the network of how Pantsir-S1 was installed on the roof of the main department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs at 38 Petrovka. This is the third complex that was installed in the center of Moscow. OSINT analyst Evergreen Intel announced this on Twitter.
Experts have already created a map of the placement of air defense systems in Moscow, the placement of which is known. Thus, it turns out that the “Shells” cover the territory in the center of the Russian capital, inside which the Kremlin is located.
Recall that in Moscow, on the roof of one of the high-rise buildings, with the help of a shooting crane, a self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery system “Pantsir-C1” was installed. Also, the air defense system was placed near the summer residence of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War explained that in this way the Russian authorities are trying to prepare the population for a protracted war against Ukraine. The Kremlin creates a new “picture” of the war, which is dangerous for Russian society.
