An installation of several hundred sunflowers appeared in the center of New York, the creation of which was timed to coincide with the Day of Unification of Ukraine, the Unify Ukraine initiative reports.
Sunflowers planted in Flatiron Plaza.
“We installed an installation of 335 sunflowers – one for each day when Russia occupied the country,” said the organizers of the exhibition.
It is worth noting that January 22 is only the 333rd day of Russia’s all-out aggression against Ukraine.
According to the organizers, everyone can visit the sunflower garden. Entry to the installation is unlimited and free.
Recall that on January 22, on Unity Day, President Volodymyr Zelensky published an appeal to Ukrainians. In particular, the head of state ensured victory in the war against Russia.
