During the day, the Russian invaders launched one missile and 27 air strikes, as well as 55 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
This was announced today, January 22, in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The districts of the settlements of Bryuski in the Chernihiv region, Sopich-Sumskoy, as well as Veterinary, Strelka, Pilne, Staritsa, Volchansk, Novomlynsk, Dvurechnaya and Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region suffered from enemy mortar and artillery fire.
The following cases have also been recorded:
- in the Kupyansk direction, Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Tabaevka and Krakhmalnoye in the Kharkiv region and Novoselovskoe and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk region were subjected to shelling;
- in the Limansky direction, the enemy fired at Makiivka, Ploshchadka, Chervonopopovka, Kuzmino and Serebryanskoye forestry of the Lugansk region;
- in the Bakhmut direction, the positions of the Ukrainian military in areas of more than 15 settlements suffered fire damage. Among them are Verkhnekamennoe, Vyemka, Controversial, Belogorovka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Kleshchievka, New York, Druzhba and Zheleznoye in the Donetsk region;
- in the Avdeevka direction, Avdeevka, Vodianoe, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye, Georgievka, Krasnogorovka and Maryinka of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire;
- Bogoyavlenko and Nikolskoe, Donetsk region, were shelled in the Novopavlovsky direction;
- in the Zaporozhye direction, more than 15 settlements were affected by artillery fire – in particular, Vremovka, Malinovka, Gulyaipole, Volshebnoe, Malaya Tokmachka, Orekhov, Novodanilovka, Kamenskoe, Zelenaya Roshcha and Novoselka in Zaporozhye;
- in the Kherson direction, the invaders again fired at Belozerka, Dneprovskoye, Yantarnoye, Beregovo and Kherson across the entire range of artillery.
The threat of strikes using ground-based and air-based missiles and kamikaze drones remains throughout Ukraine, the General Staff notes.
