Russian Federation “Groundhog Day” in Rubizhne and Popasnaya – Gaidai

For more than two months, Russian troops have been trying nightly to advance on Rubizhne and Popasna, and whenever they fail, the Lugansk OVA leader stressed.

The Russian army continues “Groundhog Day” in Rubizhne and Popasnaya. This was announced on May 3 by the head of the region’s military administration, Sergei Gaidai.

“Every night they storm, dying / returning to their former positions. The region’s residential area is ruined. For more than two months, the rashists have been trying every night to advance in Rubizhnoye and Popasnaya and establish completely control over them, but in each case were unsuccessful and there were losses, ”the governor stressed.

In the past day, residential areas of cities in the Luhansk region were shot 25 times.

Severodonetsk, Rubizhny, Popasnaya, as well as the Mountain community, where ten houses in Orekhovy and two in Zolote, were the most burned.

In addition, five high -rise buildings and a warehouse in Severodonetsk were burned. A shell did not explode in one of the damaged apartments – the pyrotechnicians were working.

Three people were rescued from the bombings and rubble. The evacuation from the region continues.

It will be recalled that in the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied 12 enemy attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Six Russian tanks, five artillery systems, 22 armored vehicles and eight vehicles were destroyed.

Air defense units fired five drones Orlan-10.

Earlier, the General Staff reported that the main enemy effort in the direction of Donetsk was focused on establishing full control over Rubizhne and Popasna, as well as on advancing towards Liman and Slavyansk.
