The fact that the UK will transfer three Sea King helicopters to Ukraine was reported in November 2022.
British Defense Secretary Ben Voles said that the Ukrainian crews were trained in the United Kingdom for six weeks. The Ukrainian side reported that it would use new helicopters for search and rescue missions.
Sikorsky S-61 / SH-3 (Sikorsky S-61 / SH-3 Sea King) is a transport helicopter built by Sikorsky Aero Engineering Corporation.
