The earthquake was recorded on the territory of the Chernivtsi region on Saturday, January 21.

Tremors were felt near the village of Kobolchin, Dniester region. There was an earthquake of magnitude 3.1. This was reported in the press service of the Main Center for Special Control.

Tremors were found at a depth of 3 km. Experts calculated that the earthquake does not pose a threat, and according to the classification, it is classified as weak and is felt only by a small part of the population. Such vibrations could be felt by people who were in a calm state indoors, especially on the upper floors.

As you know, at the end of December 2022, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 was already recorded in the Chernivtsi region. Tremors were found near the village of Novodnestrovsk. In addition, the earthquake occurred near the village of Delyatyn in the Carpathian region.

Recall, on January 3, an earthquake was registered in the territory of the Transcarpathian region in the Irshava region, at a depth of 6 km with a magnitude of 3.8. Such tremors are felt inside the building. The vibrations are similar to the shock generated by a heavily loaded car.
