“Portugal will send Ukraine a second set of 14 M113 armored personnel carriers, eight high power generators for power generation, additional 120mm ammunition and two tons of medical and sanitary equipment,” the Portuguese Defense Ministry said.
The department also added that Portuguese instructors are ready to train Ukrainian soldiers in Germany as part of military training.
In total, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Portugal has sent 532 tons of military equipment, lethal and non-lethal, to Ukraine.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Prime Minister of Portugal António Costa the Ukrainian formula for peace and support in the energy sector.
