Authorities in California on Tuesday asked the public to help find two suspects in the murder of 6 Hispanics, including a 16-year-old mother and her 10-month-old baby, in a home that was the subject of a drug trafficking investigation.
The murders took place early Monday morning in a house in GoshenTulare County farming community Central Valley of California.
Chief of the Tulare Sheriff’s Department, Mike Boudreausaid on Tuesday at a press conference that the award had been established $10,000 for anyone who gives information that leads to the capture of two men suspected of committing the murders.
Boudreau stressed that the crime “was not a random act of violence. We believe this was the target family.”
According to investigators, at least two shooters were involved in the attack. boudro According to him, three people survived the attack, one of whom managed to call the police.
The victims were identified as Jennifer Analla, 50; Rosa Parras, 72; Eladio Parras Jr., 52; Marcos Parras, 19; Alyssa Parraz, 16, and her 10-month-old baby Nicholas Parraz.
Crime scene
According to the sheriff, the young mother and her child tried to flee the house, but were killed in the street.
Boudreau indicated that the massacre was “premeditated, premeditated and horrific”.
The sheriff emphasized that it was being investigated whether the murders were related to drug trafficking, as all of the victims were shot in the head.
The murder in which the attack took place was recorded by authorities last week in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.
However, Boudreau clarified that not all of those who were shot were drug dealers or gang members, like the teenager, her son and the family’s grandmother.
On the other hand, 2 women survived the attack by hiding in a trailer on the property after watching the perpetrators of the massacre forcibly enter the house on CCTV.
Authorities arrived after receiving an emergency call from a neighbor warning of the possible presence of an active shooter due to the high number of shots fired.
At the moment, the hypothesis that this is an isolated case has been ruled out, and the main motive for this event is considered to be an attack organized by a drug cartel.
In fact, there is a significant amount of legal and illegal marijuana and methamphetamine production in this area of Tulare County.
“This level of violence doesn’t fit the mold of the average gang member (…) If they shoot everyone in the head on purpose, it’s because they know what they’re doing and they’re comfortable with what they’re doing,” Boudreau stated in Los Angeles Times interview.
