The current meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine in Ramstein will create a new reality and may unofficially be called an armored meeting. This was said by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President Andriy Sybiha on the air of the Unified News telethon, reports Ukrinform.
“It is my firm belief, and I am sure that we are all convinced here, that this Ramstein will create a new reality. I am also convinced that we cannot officially call him “armored Ramstein,” said Sibiga .
He noted that with the development of agreements reached as a result of the current meeting, Ukraine will receive “a tank argument on the battlefield.”
“We clearly understand that now a coalition of states is almost formed, which is ready to transfer Leopard tanks to us. Of course, there are some formalities. Of course, there must still be a certain political will, but it seems to me. who are the key players on whom this practical implementation depends. There is no doubt that they will be,” Sibiga is sure.
In his opinion, now the stage is almost approaching when the ban on the supply of weapons to Ukraine, including tanks and heavy armored vehicles, will be lifted.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine still has to fight for tanks, but a decision has to be made.
