This Friday, the 20th, the group’s agency D1CE Entertainment, through its Instagram and its fan cafe, shared the official announcement of the group’s separation. Check out the ad below:
“Hi. This is D1CE Entertainment.
First, we would like to sincerely thank the fans who have so generously supported D1CE.
We want to announce that the exclusive contracts between D1CE Entertainment and Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Jun and Jo Yong Geun of D1CE expired on January 20, 2023. Over a long period of time, we have shared in-depth discussions with members and to respect the views of Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Jun and Jo Yong Geun who want to achieve new dreams, we mutually agree to terminate our exclusive contracts.
We want to sincerely thank D1CE who has been with D1CE Entertainment from August 1, 2019 until now, and we will always sincerely support D1CE’s activities Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Jun and Jo Yong Geun.
Once again, we would like to sincerely thank the many fans who have supported D1CE all this time by their side, and we ask for much encouragement and support for the five members who are making new beginnings. Thanks.”
All members that made up D1CE participated in audition programs. the former member Jung Yoo Jun participated in Mnet’s ‘Boys24’ in 2016, while the others, with the exception of Woo Jin Youngwho participated in another contest, competed on Mnet’s ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ in 2017.
The group D1CE debuted in August 2019 with the release of ‘Wake Up’. His last release was his second digital single “You’re My Destiny”, released on February 10, 2021. Remember!
