British Brimstone missiles will help Ukrainian troops dominate the battlefield, says Ben Wallace.
The UK plans to donate 600 Brimstone precision-guided missiles to Ukraine as part of a military aid package. This is what Defense Minister Ben Utolles said, The Guardian reported on Thursday, January 19.
“Today, I can say that we will also send another 600 Brimstone missiles into the theater, which will be very important in helping Ukraine dominate the battlefield,” he said.
Wallace recalled that Britain had “unlocked” several military aid packages over the past year and was “continuing” to transfer a squadron of Challenger 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine.
According to him, London will also send Kyiv at least three batteries of long-range AS-90 155 mm artillery, a number of armored vehicles, including the Bulldog.
Wallace added that the UK will work with the US and others to ensure the package reaches Ukraine properly.
Recall that this week, Britain announced the transfer of the largest military aid package to Ukraine, within the framework of which Challenger 2 tanks will be transferred.
