The Swedish government has decided on a three-part package of military support for Ukraine.
Sweden is preparing to supply Ukraine with 50 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles and wheeled 155mm Archer howitzers. This is what the Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson, said.
According to him, the Swedish government has decided on a three-part package of military support for Ukraine, including “the first decision to start delivering the Archer artillery system to Ukraine.”
The 4.3 billion SEK ($419 million) military aid package will also include NLAW anti-tank weapons, Reuters reported, citing Kristersson.
“Ukraine’s military support is absolutely essential. Ukraine’s aspirations for what they want carry a lot of weight in our decision. Sweden will send around 50 of its CV90-type armored infantry fighting vehicles ,” Kristersson said.
Earlier it was reported that Sweden intends to send the Archer artillery system to Ukraine, the supply of which was requested by Kyiv.
Recall that Sweden also allocated almost $19.2 million (200 million Swedish kronor) to Ukraine. This money will go to the military
