The Ministry of Health is preparing to send six people injured from a helicopter crash in Brovary for treatment abroad. This is what the Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mikichak said on the air of the telethon on January 19, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“Some of the patients were transferred to the Kyiv Burn Center, they are the most serious and complex, but none of them are in critical or threatening condition, they are receiving full treatment, determined by the protocol. We are preparing six patients from the burn center – these are children and adults, for further treatment abroad,” he said.
According to Mikichak, the Ministry of Health “from the first hours of the tragedy actively turned to burn centers in Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic and the United States.”
Remember, on January 18, a helicopter crashed on the territory of a kindergarten in Brovary.
The top leadership of Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, including Minister Denis Monastyrsky, were in the helicopter. All passengers died.
At the helicopter crash site, 14 dead were found, including a child. 25 people were injured.
