The original idea was for a rectangle to which six supports were attached, each of which could produce the same movement.

The YouTube bloggers behind the Hacksmith Industries channel have created the world’s largest rideable spider robot called Megahex. About this writes the publication Іnteresting Engineering.

The work took a year and a half. The idea is an excavator called Princess, which can be maneuvered by using a bucket.

So the bloggers decided to create a machine on legs that can lift various loads and transport people. As a result, we got a prototype of a six-legged spider-like robot that you can ride.

Remember that Google has created robots that can answer complex queries.
