On the night of January 19, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the Matveyevsky settlement in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Alexander Starukh.
“The sound that awakened the center of the region at night was enemy fire directed at the settlement of Matveevskaya. As the occupier notes in his false reports, he was targeting the most important strategic object. But the S-300 rocket fell on the field , From the explosion in a local educational institution and nearby buildings all the windows were knocked out. Fortunately, no one was killed,” he stressed.
The head of the OVA added that in the past day, 17 settlements in the region experienced 153 shellings, 28 reports of destruction were recorded.
Recall that on January 17, the Zaporozhye region experienced a record shelling – the enemy hit settlements 171 times.
