Law enforcement officers have opened an investigation into the fact of the helicopter crash in Brovary and are looking for eyewitnesses to the tragedy.
Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings on the fact of the helicopter crash in Brovary on January 18. They also urged witnesses to the incident to contact them. This was announced by Kyiv regional police chief Andrey Nebitov in an on-air briefing of a nationwide news telethon on Wednesday, January 18.
“I must say that it is too early to draw conclusions. Criminal proceedings have already begun. The same investigators, the Security Service, and the State Bureau of Investigation will now work,” said the head of the regional police.
He also appealed to citizens who witnessed the tragedy with a request to contact law enforcement officers on the 102 line for testimony.
A similar request was made to the Office of the President (OP) of Ukraine.
“A request to the witnesses of the incident in Brovary to immediately contact the police. This will help clarify the circumstances of the tragedy,” wrote Kirill Timoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President.
Earlier we wrote that in Brovary a helicopter fell on a kindergarten. There was a fire, initially it was reported about five victims.
Later, information emerged that the top leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, including Minister Denis Monastyrsky, was in the helicopter. All aboard the helicopter were killed.
