Kyrgyzstan bought Anka drones from Turkey

Earlier, the Kyrgyz authorities reported the acquisition of models of drones Bayraktar, Aksungur and Akyndzhy in Turkey.

Kyrgyzstan acquired Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles of Anka modification. This was announced on January 17 by the head of the information policy department of the presidential administration, Daiyrbek Orunbekov, TASS reports.

“Unprecedented modern military equipment was purchased and delivered to Kyrgyzstan – Bayraktar, Aksungur, Akyndzhi, Anka,” he said.

Earlier, the Kyrgyz authorities reported the acquisition of models of drones Bayraktar, Aksungur and Akyndzhy in Turkey. They were all transferred to the Border Service.


The Anka UAV has a wingspan of 17.5 meters, a length of 8.6 meters and a height of 3.2 meters. The weight of the device is 1.7 tons, the drone can carry a load of 350 kg and stay in the air with it for up to 30 hours. The speed of Anka is about 200 kilometers per hour, the drone is capable of being at a height of 9.1 thousand meters above ground level.

Earlier it was reported that in India they started producing AK-203 assault rifles in a Russian-Indian joint venture.
