The Army of Drones project, within the framework of the UNITED24 platform, provided, at the request of the military, the contracting of 1,600 drones for UAH 3.3 billion. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“Thanks to the Army of Drones project, within the framework of the UNITED24 platform, we provide our military with the best birds and stimulate the development of Ukrainian UAV manufacturers. During the seven months of the project, at the request of the military, almost 1,600 drones worth UAH 3.3 billion have been contracted. Some of them are drones of Ukrainian manufacturers,” the minister said.
First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko pointed out that the state is deliberately stimulating the development of UAVs in Ukraine on a systematic basis, creating the necessary conditions for it, in particular, deregulates.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Digital Development said that 83 Mavic, Matrice, Autel drones were recently sent to Bakhmut.
