DTEK repair and restoration teams from January 9 to 15 restored power supply to 41,000 households left without power supply due to Russia’s shelling of 92 settlements of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. This was announced by the press service of the energy company on Monday, January 16.
“Electrical engineers are making every effort to immediately restore light to all victims, as soon as they receive permission to work from the State Emergency Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said message.
Akhmetov’s company recalled that on January 14, Ukraine’s energy system was again subjected to a Russian terrorist attack.
“The generation facilities were damaged, which increased the shortage of electricity. Therefore, NPC Ukrenergo gave the operators of the distribution system reduced consumption limits. The operators are required to comply with them to avoid damage in the situation in the energy system,” the energy stressed the company.
Recall that on January 16 in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odessa regions there were emergency power outages.
