On May 2, with the support of the UN and Red Cross, two additional locations were agreed for people to board the evacuation convoy, which was leaving Mariupol. The Mariupol City Council announced this in the Telegram.
“There is good news. With the support of the UN and the Red Cross, two additional locations have now been agreed for boarding people in an evacuation column leaving Mariupol. This is the village of Mangush and the Lunachar also near Berdyansk. If any you relatives or acquaintances there, try to contact them and pass on information about a possible evacuation, ”the City Council stressed.
Later, they confirmed, referring to the UN and Red Cross, that in Mangush and also in Lunacharsky people could take buses leaving Mariupol.
It is also possible to join the evacuation convoy using your own vehicle (at the end of the convoy).
It was previously reported that the evacuation to Mariupol on May 2 will start at 7.00 near the mall Port City.
