The annual adaptive course for young Ukrainians and Ukrainian women fully fits the international standards of quality of education.
Collegium Civitas University in Warsaw, Poland will teach in Ukrainian. On Sunday, May 1, Ukrinform reported.
As stated by the rector of the University of Poland, Professor Stanislav Motsek, teaching using the Ukrainian language of instruction was introduced for those forced to leave Ukraine because of the war.
“We are starting an adaptive program with the opportunity to study Ukrainian in the first year for further education in Poland for those who came here due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Young people can study Ukrainian within a year, and then, starting in the second year, continue to receive higher education in Polish in two areas – international relations and management, “said Stanisław Mociek.
According to Motsek, for more than 10 years at the university, students from Ukraine are studying their future specialty in Polish and English with their Polish peers. There are approximately 400 of them this academic year.
In addition to students, the university is also ready to accept Ukrainian teachers from refugees who can professionally teach curricula in international relations and management.
More than 2.7 million refugees from Ukraine arrived in Poland last month. In all, according to the UN, nearly 4.8 million people have left Ukraine since Russia’s full -scale aggression began.
Collegium Civitas is a university in Warsaw that has been training specialists in the fields of social and political science, management, marketing and security for 25 years.
It was previously reported that Poland will extend assistance to Ukrainian refugees within 60 days.
